History & Milestones

2007
Founded in Thika
Thika School of Medical and Health Sciences was established to address the shortage of trained healthcare professionals in Kenya
2008
Launch of Medical Training Programs
The institution began offering health sciences training programs focused on practical medical education.
2010
First Student Cohort
The college admitted its early students and began expanding its academic programs in the health sciences field.
2016
TVETA Accreditation
TSMHS received registration from the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA), strengthening its credibility as a recognized training institution.
2018
Expansion of Academic Programs
The institution expanded its diploma and certificate programs in multiple medical and health science disciplines.
2019
20 Years & 28+ Programmes
Celebrated two decades with the largest programme portfolio in our history.
2020
Growth of National Campuses
TSMHS expanded its presence beyond Thika with additional campuses including Mombasa, Kisumu, and Kitui.
