This program is for all those interested in the various areas of biology, for example micro-, cellular and molecular biology, biomedicine and biotechnology. Unlike a very broad-based, general biology certificate  at a college, we offer specific biological and technical know-how which is of core importance for industrial applications, for instance in the areas of biochemistry or process engineering. You will study an academic and technical understanding of numerous applications in the pharmaceutical and foodstuffs industries, as well as in the fields of medicine and environmental protection

In doing so our teaching is highly interdisciplinary aimed at giving you insights into the many different areas of application of biology, and at the same time, a high level of problem-solving competence. In principle you are combining a degree in biology with a degree in biotechnology.
