Medical Laboratories

Our programme leads to a professional qualification allowing the graduates to practice Medical Laboratory Science in all the clinical laboratories both in public, private hospitals and research institutions. The programme is approved by the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB). The graduates from this programme are registered and licensed by the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB) to practice.

Medical laboratory science provides clues that are key in the diagnosis and treatment of disease or injury, and laboratory professionals are the detectives of the health care world. Clues to solving the mysteries of diseases are found in our own bodies. Laboratory tests monitor the composition of our blood, urine, and other body fluids and tissues for early warning signs of disease.
